The best of times...the worst of times....

Timing is a funny thing. Sometimes it’s perfect. Sometimes it’s absolutely terrible. 


Sometimes, it could be both…the best and the worst. 


I think this is one of those situations. 


For the last few years, I’ve been working hard to get my business model and brand off the ground. As of just a few months ago, we were ready to make it public. 


Then…. The virus. The Crash. The Global Crisis. 

So I paused.


I thought…

  • This is terrible timing to talk about financial matters with the public. (When it can feel like the bottom is falling out and people are hyper-aware of their finances already.)

  • This is terrible timing to market our services. (Because it may seem opportunistic and insensitive.)

  • This is terrible timing to try and get people’s attention. (When literally everything is focused on the crisis all around them.)

Then it dawned on me….


This is also exactly the right time.


When the dust settles:

• You will need financial services more than ever 
 

• You will need ease of service and technology to conduct business across distances
 

• You will need help putting the pieces together, formulating a plan or reevaluating the one you had 
 

• You will want communication with real people and not a 1-800 number

So here we are…the best time and the worst time.
